Chico Meals on Wheels was founded to provide those elderly and/or infirmed with hot, nutritous, dietically correct meals in their homes. By doing so, the clients may be able to remain in their homes rather than move to a long-term care facility. |

- Chico Meals on Wheels has been delivering meals since 1971.
- Meals are delivered every day of the year.
- In 2009 we delivered 26,709 meals.
- We provide those elderly and/or infirm with nutritious, dietetically correct, meals in their homes.
- Our program is administered by a 16 member unpaid Board of Directors.
